Last night September 10, 2011, I checked my AOL 'beadtot' mail folder, reading a lone e-mail that directed me to a 2003 www.BBC.com article that described a large number of euros found in Iraq. Then, I switched to AOL 'Today's News' chat-room where I described the directive with additional "does anyone know why?", followed with 'maybe some pics purpose' chat-line.

Immediately, '1' new mail popped onto the screen in the AOL e-mailbox icon. I quickly checked to read it only to find another 'no subject' e-mail that, however, had attached pics; previous 'no subject' e-mails ultimately led to a 'free' porno website entry that showed such photos on the home page. I could download the new-mail pic attachment from the sudden new 'no subject' e-mail, but could/can not open the file to see what the pics are -- an AOL pop-up requires a membership update, such form even blocking an effort to open the pics file from its desktop-PC saved-on-internal-disk position.

How weird is that? Plus, they cannot be deleted without a membership update!

Walked again to E Main St/Bolivar Drive area, to WALMART where Sterlite brand styrene containers fill one shelf-section; carried some foodstuffs to relatives addressed Bolivar Drive, moving from Seaward Ave intersection. Bolivar Drive has been extended quite a bit since I was in CA; a former end-drive house now appears as 'just another' roadside house (local joke). There is a small 'Israeli' cemetery with large headstones alongside the Bolivar Drive roadway; picked up rotten apples in '500' block from roadside to drop into small waterstream. There is also a Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department facility alongside Bolivar Drive.

Removed jersey/shirt and ripped short-pants plus used cat-collar from Seaward Ave berm and carried them to Salvation Army addressed Jackson Ave, in discarded grocery bag found holding pepper seeds amid the bounding grasshoppers.

Note: this past week a walk to the USPO revealed the prices on flat-rate containers changed with a black marker-pen.

It was a nice warm day to step out into pouring rain, in vinyl raincoat, to check out the books available at a church rummage sale advertised in the Bradford Era newspaper.

Retracing steps made yesterday in today's rain downpour showed sidewalks as conduits for rainwater that sometimes bypassed open street-drains! The '300' block Jackson Avenue also showed a few hillside properties that channeled rainwater runoff directly onto sidewalk using PVC pipes, from sloped yards nearly perpendicular to that walkway across the street from ARG.
